Personality: Liesl is the one most laidback and ready to take a second seat to the others. Would like to lay down and be given attention as much as play. Will easily give up a toy to her brother or sister rather than fight for it, and then will quietly wait until they are done with it before going to grab it for herself afterward. She expresses confidence, maturity and wisdom, not timidity. And when she has a bone – nobody takes it from her. She loves to run in open fields and swim in ponds; at which point her full joy comes flooding out, and her great anatomy and graceful movements are most fully on display.

Training: She is the most naturally inclined toward training and obedience. She quickly learned, almost instinctively it seemed, that “sit & wait” was the posture to take when any activity was to be undertaken between the two of us. Strong desire to do what I want. Much potential for great obedience and field training that I hope to take full advantage of.

General health: Liesl, as has our other dogs, has grown from puppyhood to her young adult self without any signs of health troubles along the way. All veterinary checkups, as well as general overall observation, show her to be in everyway healthy and happy.

Breeding health: Her first two heat cycles came when expected, and with the duration expected. On her third cycle, at 2 years of age, she was bred by our male, English. She did a wonderful job birthing her puppies, and quickly became a very attentive mother. She has been doing all that is needed to get her little ones off to a good start.
Her anatomy, head structure and temperament, along side that of English, makes us very much look forward to the puppies and dogs that they will produce; the two parents just seem to be a great match!
